the blue butterfly has stayed on my wall, right here.
Held back by the lack of a whole second wing, it stays right here.
Once it had two wings, and laid on my hand, applied by the girl who sat at the door the night you had your oh-so-important show.
I was your guest then, a stranger among your strange fellowkind. The inky blue bug told the world that I had come to support you.
Later, while sleeping, I pressed my hand with the butterfly stamp up against the wall.
